Objectives of the PRSP

  • Contribute to the conservation an management of regional fisheries by pooling resources to prevent illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing in the South West Indian Ocean region

  • Carry out monitoring, control and smart surveillance efforts through better targeted actions

  • Promote effective monitoring, control and surveillance policies by building the region's capacities
